Meeting notice (local policing event)

Dear residents,

I would like to extend a huge thank you to you all that attend the Police Information Point yesterday evening at Winchcombe Fire Station.

It was very, very successful,  so please keep an eye out for further updates on our website. All positive news !!

Also, welcome to those of you that joined our Community Alerts system,  it's free,  it's beneficial,  and it keeps you in the loop.

May I respectfully ask you,  if you see anything suspicious ie; possible theft of cars, motorcycles, house breaks , shed breaks , possible drug deals, please do call this in to us at the time it happens,  or as soon as you can,  on 999, or 101 non emergency, or, on the link on the Gloucestershire Constabulary website, or Crime Stoppers 0800 555 111.

If it isn't reported to us,  how do we know what is happening in your areas ?

Be extra vigilant at this time of year, leave lights on, a radio or tv,  and ensure you lock all your doors and windows before you leave your home.   Prevention is better than cure !!

You can find plenty of crime prevention advice on our website: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/

For more information about what’s happening in your area, enter your postcode here: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/

Please note, we're unable to accept reports of crime through Your Neighbourhood Alerts.

I look forward to seeing you all again in the future.  I will advertise the dates, times and locations, and I welcome you all.

Meanwhile,  stay safe,

Kind regards,
